  1. SHORT: VideoMaxe 4.00_beta_light, THE video organizer for the Amiga.

  3. REQUIRES: Any Amiga with KS >= 2.04 (36), WB >= 2.1 (38).

  5. RELEASE NOTES: This is the `light` version of the new VideoMaxe 4.00, 
  6.                successor of VideoMaxe 3.XX. It covers _ALL_ possibilities/
  7.                operations of VideoMaxe 3.XX and provides a lot of new
  8.                features (see below). Old VideoMaxe 3.XX
  9.                files can be updated of course (see docs). Only some new
  10.                functions are not available in this `light` version.
  11.                Note that this is a beta version. You should not actually
  12.                use it yet but view, test & wait for the 1st main release.
  13.                Furthermore, the program is not documented yet.
  14.                
  15.                _ONLY_ Light versions of VideoMaxe >4.00 may be used freely.

  17. QUICKSTART: Doubleklick on `AssignVM`, Doubleklick on `VideoMaxe`.
  18.             Load the `Example` project if you like.

  24. FEATURES: o feature in light & full version
  25.           * feature is limitated in light version
  26.           
  27.           o Full OS 2.1 support (Localization (English, German up to now),
  28.             Asl, fonts, app. icon, etc.).
  29.           o Saves different Screen-Layout (screen mode, fonts, window sizes etc.).
  30.           o Runtime gadget recalculation.
  31.           o _NO_ limitations whatsoever concerning amount of titles, rubrics,
  32.             tapes (or whatever:+) except for your ram space.
  33.           * A freely editable mask entry list for each tape and title; that 
  34.             means that you can carry as much additionally information as you
  35.             wish per tape or title (three data types up to now: Number, Text,
  36.             On/Off). Provides a mask system to handle that.
  37.           o VideoMaxe 4.00 gives the final solution to the question where to
  38.             record a new title.
  39.           o No matter what video recorder you have: VideoMaxe shows rest time,
  40.             used time or the counter of your video recorder to let you
  41.             access to a title. Last mentioned is useful if you have a 
  42.             video recorder without a real-time indicator (or the goal-spooling
  43.             is available with the counter only); you can then freely
  44.             create a fitting counter-function.
  45.           o Title length are given in minutes AND seconds to be able to cover
  46.             rather short titles (e.g. music).
